- Coordinate event details.
- Work with all event vendors, including: florist, rental company, security, parking.
- Work with each venue’s operations team on all event preparation.
- On-site day of event coordinating to ensure execution is on schedule, maintaining contact with the vendors.
Plans, prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.
One year experience cooking food for large groups. Knowledge of proper cooking methods and procedures. Knowledge of meal planning techniques. Knowledge of acceptable food storage and cleaning techniques. Ability to cook nutritional, tasteful, and safe food for large groups in a timely manner. Ability to properly clean kitchen appliances and utensils. Ability to order food and kitchen supplies in a economical manner and to maintain an adequate level of inventory. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to cook, taste, and smell food. Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.
High School Diploma OR equivalent.
Accepts and processes residents staying in lodge overnight; receives and receipts fees received from residents; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; monitors cameras,maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that lodge is maintained in a neat and proper order. Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective action in accordance with established policy and procedures.
One year experience performing security or social service work preferred. Bilingual Preferred.
Knowledge of and ability to speak, read, and write in English at a level that allows an ability to communicate successfully with clients, to determine, evaluate, and address their needs, to complete desired paperwork, and to understand and follow through on verbal commands from supervisors. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices. Knowledge of basic recordkeeping practices and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with clients in order to control, lead, and motivate behavior. Ability to work with the public encompassing all types of behaviors. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision while enforcing established policies and procedures.
High School Diploma OR G.E.D. AND One year experience performing security or social service work preferred OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
$10.80 to $11.08/hour
Plans, develops, manages, and controls the day-to-day operations of the accounting, finance, and personnel functions for an Area Command or large Corps; serves as liaison and financial advisor to the local units, Advisory Boards, Divisional Headquarters, and Territorial Headquarters by reporting the financial status and researching financial discrepancies; manages and monitors all general ledger, purchasing, budgetary, and personnel functions; ensures all accounting and financial functions are in compliance with The Salvation Army policy as well as local, state, and federal regulations; ensures the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and integrity of all financial reporting.
Five years progressively responsible experience performing complex and varied accounting and bookkeeping functions for an organization with at least two years in a supervisory capacity,
Knowledge of principles and practices of general business administration with special concentration in accounting, finance and bookkeeping. Knowledge of the entire process of financial statement preparation. Knowledge of modern and accepted accounting concepts, techniques, and principles. Knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel supervision. Ability to provide effective leadership to subordinates, maintain a variety of internal and external contacts and work cooperatively with superior and subordinate staff. Ability to plan, develop and initiate effective and efficient bookkeeping practices and methods in order to increase accuracy and timeliness of financial recording and reporting. Analytical ability to plan work schedules, evaluate work performances, and provide input on budget planning. Ability to examine the bookkeeping work performed by subordinates in order to detect errors or omissions. Ability to effectively lead subordinates, resolve minor complaints, and deal with day to day occurrences. Ability to prepare complex financial reports and records. Ability to accept fiscal responsibility of all functionalized accounts.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or a relate field AND five years progressively responsible experience performing complex and varied accounting and bookkeeping functions for an organization with at least two years in a supervisory capacity, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
